Publication in PRL: “Emission Noise in an Interacting Quantum Dot: Role of Inelastic Scattering and Asymmetric Coupling to the Reservoirs”
The understanding of noise in quantum systems is a fundamental issue in the race to gain a sharp control of the electron transfer through nanoscopic devices. In this context, we develop a theory to calculate the emission noise in an interacting quantum dot, which is the elementary brick of quantum circuit. We establish an analytical expression for the noise which is analogous to the MeirWingreen formula for the current in the sense that it includes inelastic scattering contributions. A (...)
