I completed a Ph.D. thesis in theoretical physics (CPT, Université de Provence) under the supervision of B. Iochum. The title was “Algebraic Study of Quasiperiodic Media,” and I presented it in 1995. I then spent 18 months as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Physics at the University of Bologna (Italy).
I was hired in 1999 as an associate professor at the Laboratoire Matériaux Microélectronique de Provence (L2MP), later renamed the Institut Matériaux Microélectronique de Provence (IM2NP), where I spent 19 years. I joined the CPT in 2018. I am currently a Full Professor at AMU. I served as Associate Chair of the Physics Department and Director of the Master’s program in Physics. I currently serve as Associate Director of the CPT.
My research focuses primarily on condensed matter physics, particularly non-equilibrium systems where quantum effects play a significant role.
