Course
This lecture will start by presenting the principles and challenges of a ground base GW interferometer detector. The first generation of instruments, the sensitivities achieved, the scientific runs and the main results will be discussed. The second generation of instruments, currently in construction, and their scientific targets will conclude this lecture.
