About Me
I was trained as a mathematical physicist and devoted most of my time to the study of transport in low dimensional systems, both for fundamental and applied motivations.
My Life
Born in Marseille, France on February 28, 1970, I have always been interested in explaining my everyday life environment, thanks to my parents that always encouraged this tendency to unmount all objects around me. After studying at the University of Provence (Aix-Marseille 1), in Marseilles, I completed my PhD thesis on spectral properties of quasiperidic one-dimensional schrodinger operators at the “Centre de Physique Théorique”. I then spend 2 years in Bologna, Italy on a project about non-linear physics applied to the confinement of partuicles in accelerators. I obtained a position as “Maître de conférences” in physics and joined a brand new nanosciences laboratory in a theory team.
Current Work
I continue to work on various problems at the intersection of mathematics and Physics. My interests include in particular the out of equilibrium and disordered mesoscopic quantum systems, both for the study of transport, and the applications to quantum information processing.
Research Interests
My research focus includes: Mesoscopic physics, Quantum walks, Quantum automata, and devices modeling
