Research

My work focuses on general relativity and quantum gravity,
with excursions in quantum field theory, twistor theory and mathematical physics

Teaching

I gratefully enjoy the luxury of a monastic life of research. Occasionally, I step out of my cell to give lectures on general relativity or loop quantum gravity

Curriculum Vitae

While my PhD was a shared position between Rome's La Sapienza and Cambridge's DAMTP, it was in Marseille that I had to work the hardest, as the picture shows.
I then moved to the Perimeter Institute in Waterloo, Ontario, for a Post-Doc, before being hired by the CNRS.
