Application for registration

This CNRS thematic school is aimed at researchers, post-docs and PhD students. Its goals are the training or upgrading of the participants, and the lecturers, who in turn become participants.

Registration procedures are in three stages:
  1. On the website of the IESC go to the tab "Create account" in order to receive your access codes (NB: do not use the one of an earlier event)
  2. Apply for registration. A message will inform you if you are accepted, your name will appear on the list of participants.
  3. Provide information about your stay, in particular the type of accommodation, as well as your arrival and departure dates (note that your stay will not be managed by the IESC outside the period of 'school). Students are invited to opt for the "shared room", the choice of a single room will be validated subject to availability. For organizational reasons, it is essential that this information is updated before the registration deadline.

Your stay at IESC

The arrival is scheduled on Sunday 12 November 2017 in the late afternoon and departure on Saturday 18 November 2017 in the morning. Your accommodation must be vacated before 9am, your luggage will be deposited in a box provided for this purpose. A unique bus service will be organized between Ajaccio Airport and the IESC, timetables will be provided in due course. If necessary, additional transport can be arranged, but at your own expense.

The lodgings are located at the IESC, in the village (and furnished), and are provided the necessary (cooking utensils and linens). The final assignment of your accommodation will be established by the IESC according to all of your desires. If you have accommodation in the hotel, it will be reserved for you.

Only lunches are taken at the IESC Monday to Friday and are included in the package. Dinners are to be borne by the participants and can be taken in restaurants or in apartments.


Cost of your stay at the IESC

The registration fees amounts to 250 €, it is  reduced to 150 for the students, and the accompanying persons are exonerated. They help organize the school and do not cover your stay.

The costs of staying at the IESC correspond to a package over the entire period of the school, they are irreducible. They include accommodation with breakfast (except formula C), as well as lunches, a welcome aperitif, coffee breaks and the banquet.

CNRS agents are exempted from the registration fee and may request that travel expenses be covered by their CNRS delegation. In addition, they can benefit from the free of charge their stay at the IESC, the request must be formulated by email to triay (at) cpt.univ-mrs.fr.

Accompanying persons are not subject to the package, they will pay their stay by credit card directly to the IESC on site (the cost can not exceed the amount of the package A). For reasons of restaurant management, they must declare their presence at the various meals sufficiently in advance, preferably at the time of registration.

NB: To have a complete estimate of the amount of your stay, you will have to add the dinners, the lunches of Sunday and Saturday, the transports (apart from the shuttles organized by the IESC), as well as the excursion (sea or mountain), if the weather permits.


Payment

Payment must be made by bank card before you arrive at the IESC on the payment website (click on the "registration" tab and choose "The CMB from A to Z"). You will first need to pre-register (use a unique email address per person) to complete the payment process.
