Sayantani works on cosmology with gravitational-wave data, dark matter and dark energy through gravitational-wave propagation, waveform systematics, and gravitational-wave memory. She is a member of the Virgo and Einstein Telescope collaborations.
Viola works on compact-binary populations, flexible population models, Bayesian inference and forecasts for third-generation gravitational-wave detectors. She is a member of the Einstein Telescope Collaboration.
Alessandro works on advanced statistical inference for gravitational-wave cosmology and on the capabilities of future detectors to test cosmology and fundamental physics. He is a member of the Virgo and Einstein Telescope collaborations.
Possible PhD projects should typically be discussed around January for a start in the following autumn. Early contact is useful so that we can identify a suitable project and funding route.
